The Brief

viaPhoton are a rapidly growing manufacturing startup that manufacture fibre cables and switches that service some of the world’s largest 5G and datacentre customers. We were engaged by Via Photon to build out their engineering centre of excellence in Barcelona, as well as placing their executive-level talent to spearhead the growth of the company.

The Results

In the space of three months Quotacom was able to place viaPhoton’s Chief Digital Officer, provide detailed research, analysis, commentary and advisory on the COE location and then proceed to build out a significant software engineering team in Barcelona from the top down, including VP Software Engineering, Senior Engineers, Senior Product Managers, Engineers etc. All whilst supporting viaPhoton with other business critical hires across customer success marketing, in the process becoming an indispensable partner in viaphoton’s quest to disrupt the connectivity through its people.
